Make Way for the Cross was the official March For Jesus album for 1989 and featured the first Make Way Music single release – Let the Flame Burn Brighter.
Both a celebration and a proclamation of the heart of the Gospel, designed to be used as an outdoor or indoor event.
The title track from the album was released as a single in 1989 and charted just outside the UK top 40.
Let the Flame Burn Brighter was recorded at the famous Abbey Road Studios, London and was produced by Alan Shacklock. Any profits from the sale of single went to the Shaftesbury Society and Tear Fund.
We Worship at Your Feet (Come and see), Amazing Love and Let The Flame Burn Brighter were re-recorded in 2010 for The Very Best of Graham Kendrick.
