Strong in the Lord we take our stand.
Christ and His Word are solid ground:
Who raised us up from death to life,
Our Saviour, Master and our Friend.
As we are loved so may we love,
Light fires of hope, plant fields of peace,
Until His Kingdom comes here on earth
And heaven’s love floods every street.

Strong in His strength we shall endure.
God, His own armour does provide:
Justice and truth, bright shield of faith,
Feet swift to run with Gospel light.
Ready to face the evil day,
His Word the weapon in our hand
Until at last His Kingdom comes
And Christ is known in every land.
