Four Days

Four days shut in the grave
Death stood proudly, where Lazarus lay
A stone-sealed tomb, locked his life away
Out of reach in the darkest place

Four days, nothing had changed
Grief and sorrow, had come to stay
A stone-sealed tomb, locked their hope away
Out of reach in the darkest place

But in the crowd, there’s a stirring, stirring
He is here
And he’s calling, calling your name
And suddenly everything is changing, changing

Hold on believe
Hold on and you will see
The glory

Four days, shut in the grave
A man stands broken with holy rage
The crowd step back as they hear him say
Break that seal roll the stone away

And then he calls through the darkness, darkness
His friend is there
And he’s calling, He’s calling his name
Come alive, every chain is breaking, breaking!

Hold on believe
Hold on and you will see
The glory

Hold on to me for I am Life
And though you walk
through death
With me you’ll rise
